Two arrested for murder
The Vikaspuri police have arrested Tilak Raj (20) and Satish (22) on the charge of killing Jagdish (35) in his Mohan Garden house on June 25. The two reportedly went to Jagdish’s house for drink and got into an argument over a trivial issue. They allegedly attacked him with a hoe and fled the spot. The hoe has been recovered.

Woman sets self afire
Mukesh Kumari (20) committed suicide by setting herself afire in Surakhpur village, Najafgarh, around 5.15 p.m. on Monday. She died on the spot before neighbours could come to her rescue. The police have registered a case.

Body found in Anand Vihar
The body of a 47-year-old beggar was found in the Anand Vihar police station area on Monday morning. The police say that he might have consumed spurious liquor. There were no external injuries on the body. Further investigations are on.
