One arrested, car stereo recovered
The city police have arrested Jarnail Singh alias Jiala, a resident of the Dadu Majra Colony, and reportedly recovered a stolen car stereo from his possession. A case has been registered.

Theft reported
Amarjit Singh, a resident of Sector 4, Panchkula, reported a case of theft from his house. Two cylinders, gold trinkets were among the things taken away from his home when he had gone to visit the temple. A case has been registered under Section 380 IPC.

Woman receives burn injuries
Bhupati, 48, a resident of Sector 27, received 20 per cent burn injuries in a minor fire that broke out in the kitchen of her house, this afternoon. Police sources said that the fire was caused by an accidental gas leakage and no foul play was suspected.
