Cheating case registered
M. L. Lidho, a resident of Phase II in S. A. S. Nagar, reported to the police that Rajinder Parmar, who was staying in the Yatri Niwas in Sector 24, cheated him and made away with his car. Police sources said that the complainant had advertised for sale of the car. Singh came posing as a customer and told Lidho that he wanted to show the car to his boss. The accused drove off with the car and did not return, it was added. Acase of cheating and criminal breach of trust has been registered.

Car stolen
Ujjagar Sani, a resident of Sector 35, reported to the police that his car (number CHK 33) was stolen from his residence. The police have registered a case.
