3 cops drinking in public held
Three Punjab Police personnel including a sub-inspector, were caught by the city police late last night on the charges of drinking at a public place. Police sources said that SI Malkiat Singh and constables Pawan Kumar and Jagbir Singh were arrested from Sector 22. They have been booked undet the Excise Act.

Sec 41 resident booked
Narinder Kumar, a Sector 41 resident, was booked on charges of attempting to outrage the modesty of a woman. The Sector 11 police have registered a case and investigations are on, it was added.

Boy injured
Shri Pal, a 10-year-old hailing from Moradabad, was hit by a tractor-trolley bearing a Haryana registeration number near the Mauli Jagran colony. The boy was admitted to the PGI, while the driver reportedly fled. The police have registered a case.
