PANCHKULA, April 28: The district will soon have a judicial complex of its own. This was stated by Haryana Chief Minister Bansi Lal, while inaugurating the mini-secretariat building in Sector 2, here, today. Expressing satisfaction over the completion of the building in 23 months, instead of scheduled 30 months, the CM instructed the Architecture Department to provide all multi-storey buildings with adequate lifts. He said that plans for the construction of judicial complex next to the mini-secretariat were under way and the project would be undertaken soon. The mini-secretariat building would house a number of district-level offices and is expected to facilitate work and make it easier for the citizens to meet the officers.

The building has been constructed on a 9.09 acre campus at a cost of Rs 4 crore. Eighteen offices have shifted; these are the offices of the district commissioner, additional district commissioner, city magistrate, district revenue officer, deputy excise and taxation commissioner, superintendent of police and district public relations officer.

Answering the questions of mediapersons, the chief minister said that there were no differences in the party over giving Adampur ticket to Master Hari Singh for the Assembly bye-elections to be held on June 3.
