Course for quarry children

CHENNAI, June 30: CHOLAI, a City-based NGO, has started the first 8216;bridge course8217; in the State for 12 children working in the stone quarries around the City. Depending on their age, the children will be coached to take up the Std V, VIII and X government examinations. They would then be admitted to govenment schools for higher studies, according to T V Murali, its director.
