MUMBAI: Cotton textile exports have increased by 6.60 per cent to Rs 9,971.19 crore during January-August 1999 against Rs 9354.25 crore in the same period last year. Exports in August alone aggregated Rs 1,253.06 crore.
While cotton fabric exports stood at Rs 373.28 crore in August 1999, those of cotton yarn were Rs 439.67 crore.
