England dusted off the cobwebs and the controversy to score a five-wicket win over Zimbabwe in the first one-day international in Harare on Sunday.

Half-centuries by Ian Bell and skipper Michael Vaughan were the highlights of the England win.

Elton Chigumbura and Dion Ebrahim put on 82 runs for the sixth wicket after the hosts had been reduced to 90-5. However, Darren Gough and Alex Wharf put England in the driving seat.
