NASHIK: A police constable of the Niphad police station, Madhukar Poonja Bhoi, set a woman ablaze in the early hours of Thursday following a quarrel. Bhoi, who was allegedly having an affair with the married woman, Mangla Yadav Gaikwad, poured kerosene over her and set her on fire in her house at Shivdi village.
Police say, Bhoi would visit Mangla8217;s house as her husband who services in the Army was away on duty. When Bhoi came visiting Mangla on Wednesday night in an inebriated, Mangla asked him not to come to her house anymore. Angered by this, he set her on fire.
