Congress team headed for protest sites

Days after the incidence of firing on Gurjjar agitators in Rajasthan, the Congress on Wednesday decided to send a delegation to affected areas. It will comprise AICC general secretary in charge of Rajasthan Mukul Wasnik, Coordinator Virendra Singh, state Congress chief C P Joshi and CLP leader Hemaram Choudhury.

8220;They will go into areas where there was agitation by Gurjjar community on whom terrible violence was unleashed. The team will examine the situation and convey the condolence of the Indian National Congress to the bereaved families of those killed in police firing. The team will also submit a report to the Congress president,8221; AICC spokesperson Jayanthi Natarajan told reporters.
