SATARA, May 14: Sampatrao Bhosale, ex-chairman, Panchyat Samiti, Satara and the Congress-led Urmodi Project Victim8217;s Action Committee8217;s president strongly criticised Hindurao Naik Nimbalkar, vice-president, MKVDC and Dr. Dilip Yalgaonkar, senior BJP functionary from Satara district for holding the Congress responsible for stopping the Urmodi Project work.

The duo had apparently flayed the Congress at a meeting at Urmodi on Tuesday. Bhosale was speaking to press reporters in Satara on Thursday. He said, 8220;The Congress never stopped the project work. The farmers who now agitate at the site do so under the leadership of Dr Patankar are Shiv Sena and BJP members.

Why they cannot talk to their party members and settle the disputes and start the project work?8221; he questioned. Nimbalkar had organised a trip to the Urmodi Project work for the people of Mann and Khatav talukas on Tuesday. About 250 private jeeps were engaged in taking people to the sites where Nimbalkar, Dr. Yalgaonkar and leaders from Shiv Sena and BJP spoke. They focussed on the achievement of the coalition government during the last four years.
