Hyderabad, May 9: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee chief Y S Rajasekhar Reddy today said the party would lodge a complaint with the Chief Election Commissioner against the ruling TDP for allegedly wooing voters in the four assembly constituencies, which are going to bypolls on June 3.

Reddy alleged that the TDP with an eye on ensuing polls was wooing voters at many places in Mummadivaram assembly constituency by sanctioning roads, bridges, electricity transformers, conductors and poles and houses.

“We are collecting details in this regard and a formal complaint would be lodged with the Election Commission soon,” Reddy said.

Reddy charged the TDP with spending at least Rs one crore for winning the Mummadivaram seat, when byelection was held there nine months ago. “We have no financial resources to match with TDP,” he said.
