
Chennai, February 7: Coach John Wright was quickly down to business as the first phase of the conditioning camp to pick the Indian cricket team, which will take on the mighty Australians, commenced at IIT-Chemplast grounds here on Tuesday.

Anil Kumble, who was not available for the selection due to a shoulder injury, was a surprise visitor at the camp. 8220;I am disappointed that I can8217;t play in this important series,8221; the star leg-spinner said. However, he was seen giving a few tips to the young spinners among the probables.
Today8217;s camp was confined to the morning session. A meeting dubbed as mental strength session8217; was scheduled to be held in the afternoon after the arrival of captain Sourav Ganguly.
