CHENNAI, May 3: Computer-aided surgery in Tamil Nadu has received a leg up, with the Indian Association of Computer-Assisted Surgery coming forward to develop the necessary software in association with the IIT, Chennai. Surgeons and computer professionals will be offered training in this field. A three-day international conference on the subject is also to start at IIT Chennai on May 7.
