Complaint against YC chief sent for verification

CHANDIGARH, Nov 27: On the alleged molestation charges against Chandigarh Youth Congress president Chander Mukhi Sharma, the Chandigarh Police, in its interim report to the Punjab Raj Bhawan, has sent the complaint for handwriting verification to the Examiner of Questioned Documents in Shimla.

Sources say the action follows the denial of the alleged complainant Surinder Chaudhary, who has stated to the police that she had not made any such complaint to the police against Sharma.

The Chandigarh Police have, in its interim report, stated that even though the lady has denied that it was her complaint, the same has been sent for further verification to know as to who was behind the complaint.
