CISF overcome OBC, enter semis

In a late match on Monday, veteran striker Vir Bahadur netted the all important goal for Delhi Vidyut Board (DESU) off a cross from another Jagdish Malhotra few minutes before the close and snatched the full points from Central Sectt. But on Tuesday evening, DVB lost to Delhi Audit 2-3. Rajesh Kashyap, Sameer Jung and Virender Bhakuni scored for the winners while Mahinder and Vikram were the DVB’s marksmen.

JN GOLDEN WIN: JN Golden entered the quarter-finals of the Lala Hari Ram Aggarwal cricket tournament beating Kashmere Gate XI by 140 runs. Batting first JN Golden made 333 runs for the loss of four wickets. The highlight of the match was an unbeaten century by Ashu Dani. He made 102 which came of 52 balls. In reply, Kashmere Gate XI were bundled out at 193 in 29.5 overs. Their highest scorer was Kapil Kumar, who made 95.
