BANGALORE, May 29: A crippled retired engineer lost his life in a fire tragedy after he forgot to snuff out his cigarette at his house near Johnson Market. According to police, the victim, Nicholas Sequiera, whose legs were paralysed, was unwell and was sleeping in a room alone. After smoking a cigarette fell on his mattress and set it on fire. Unable to more or scream for help, he was charred to death on the bed.
