Chetna March to reach city tomorrow

The Sanjhi Valta Gurmat Chetna March, which started from Amritsar on September 20 to mark the 300th year of 8216;Guru Gaddi8217; of Shri Guru Granth Sahib, would reach the city on September 30.

Giving this information here today, Joginder Singh Nagpal, president of Gurudwara Shri Singh Sabha, said,8221;The Gurmat Chetna March will reach Ludhiana after passing from many villages and cities of Punjab. The march will reach Shri Hajoor Sahib Nander on October 26. It is being led by Sant Makhan Singh, head of Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh Taksal, and about 500 devotees are participating in it.8221;

8220;Sant Makhan Singh will offer a chhatar headpiece of gold having diamonds in it, along with many other things made of gold, to the march,8221; he added.

The march will restart from Gurudwara Shri Alamgir Sahib on September 30 and after passing from Gill village, Arora palace and various others parts of the city, it will reach at Gurudwara Shri Singh Sabha, Sarabha Nagar at night. About twnety gurudwaras and societies will welcome the march.
