
CHANDIGARH, June 7: The UT Administration today served chargesheets on two deputy superintendents of the police, who were suspended following their quot;indictmentquot; in the missing files case.
The two suspended DSPs D. S. Thakur and Subhash Sagar have been given 20 days to reply following which an inquiry may be ordered, said sources.
Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police traffic and security Balbir Singh has been asked to inquire into the case of other three suspended policemen. They include inspector P. K. Dhawan, sub-inspector Balihar Singh and head constable Yashpal.
Earlier, an inquiry by former Legal Remembrancer Sanjiv Kumar had indicted five policemen in the case of missing murder files.
