Lawyer8217;s car stolen
Satinder Singh, a lawyer residing in Sector 28, reported to the police that his car HR-02-B-0284 was stolen from outside the district courts in Sector 17, last evening. A case under Section 379 has been registered.

Burglary in Sec 47
Baldev Singh, a resident of Sector 47-D, complained to the police that his house was burgled of Rs 41,000 cash, gold ornaments worth several thousands and a VCR, while he was away from May 16-18. The police have registered a case of burglary.

One held
The police have arrested Lal Babu, a resident of Muzzafarnagar, in Uttar Pradesh. The accused was reportedly wanted by the local police on charges of kidnapping a woman from the city.
