CHA to lock horns with PSB in finals

Bolstered by a fine brace from Damandeep Singh, Chandigarh Hockey Academy edged out Lucknow Hockey Academy by 2-1 in an evenly contested semi-final match to reach the final of the first Administrator8217;s Challenge Cup Hockey Tournament for Under-17 being organised by the Chandigarh Sports Department at Sector 42 Hockey Stadium on Tuesday.

Damandeep scored in the seventh and 31st minute for CHA while Deepak Yadav pulled back one for Lucknow in the 58th minute. Meanwhile, Punjab and Sind Bank Academy scored an emphatic 5-4 victory over Surjit Hockey Academy after both the teams were locked at 1-1 till the regulation period. Chandigarh Hockey Academy will lock horns with Punjab and Sind Bank Academy for the title.
