Career Education Fair 8217;99 concludes

CHANDIGARH, May 11: Four-day Career Education Fair 99, organised at Hotel Shiwalik View by Punjland, concluded here today.

quot;A lot of girls are keen on opting for careers like journalism, fashion designing, graphics and even modelling,quot; said Lt. B.S. Bhullar, fair co-ordinater. The boys rush was seen on the stall giving information on carrer in merchant navy. Another stall on the training of air hostesses and stewards was crowded with more boys than girls.

The information on various courses was also available for the students who wanted to study abroad. Punjab National Bank also participated in the fair to apprise the students of the loan facility available for their eduaction.

Greater Punjab Trust for Education, Training and Employment will organise Career 2000 in February here in the city.
