Bypoll process on

The EC on Tuesday set announced bypolls in the 10 Lok Sabha seats8212;lying vacant following the expulsions of MPs in the cash-for-query scam8212;by fixing March 8 as the poll date for Gwalior and Sidhi in Madhya Pradesh. Bypolls in Robertsganj, Mirzapur and Bilhour in UP will be held along with the Assembly polls, the EC said. The schedule for Hamirpur in Himachal would be prepared separately while Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh, Palamu SC in Jharkhand and Erandol and Jalgaon in Maharashtra would go to polls after the schools exams are over.
