MUMBAI, MAY 31: A BEST driver was killed when the bus he was driving collided with a lorry at Kurla this morning.
According to A S Tamboli, BEST Deputy PRO, the bus, going from Worli depot to Vidyavihar on Route 324 collided with a lorry at Kamani petrol pump in Kurla. The lorry was carrying iron railings which were protruding from the rear. The rods smashed the windshield and spliced through the body of Ganpat Dagdu, the bus driver, who died on the spot.
