June 8: The exchange also advised members/investors who had outstanding claims against Shah to immediately file their claims and obtain arbitration awards in their favour, before submitting the same to the Defaulters’ Committee for its consideration. Shah had been restrained from doing business on the exchange from August 6, 1999, and his BOLT terminals were de-activated as a disciplinary measure. He was declared a defaulter on March 2, 2000.
