Brinda accuses Oppn of conspiracy in Nandigram

Speaking at a rally of the All India Democratic Women’s Association at Dum Dum on Sunday, Brinda Karat accused the Opposition of conspiring against the people of Nandigram. She also emphasised the need for deployment of CRPF forces in the area to bring about peace and normalcy.

Without directly mentioning the Trinamool Congress, she said the party was resorting to “opportunistic” politics by forming a Mahajot.

“They are hatching conspiracy and the poor people are becoming victims of their gun trotting,” she said.

Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee was also present in the meet. She also slammed Union minister for Information and Broadcasting Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi for his “opposition” in sending central forces to the state.
