Break lock, fun in stock

The act stunned the ST department officials in general and women in particular, as the room belonged to the latter. After successive holidays, Monday morning found them without their usual lunch-room.

The seniors were informed about their plight and a delegation was formed by the department and Mukim was consulted. Khachar was summoned and asked to explain as to why was the lock was broken. The inquiries8217; found that the PWD employees had lost the key. Khachar and Mukim pacified the upset women employees and informed them that it was officially allotted to the collectorate as the DSO8217;s chamber was undergoing repairs.

An agreement was arrived at, though not without much emotional drama attached to it, says Mukim.
