Boy immolates self

The 17-year-old son of a Central Bureau of Investigation constable committed suicide by immolating himself after being reprimanded by his father for keeping bad company in Vijay Vihar area of Outer district on Wednesday.

Deepak8217;s father works as a CBI constable in Delhi. 8220;Deepak was the student of class XI in Inderprastha Public School, and was keeping bad company. His school teachers had warned him but he did not listen,8221; the police said. The school principal then called Deepak8217;s father and complained about Deepak8217;s activities for his father severely scolded him. Deepak then poured kerosene and set himself on fire. His family rushed him to a hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
