HE’S 23, speaks in a delicious British drawl and has a body that women vie for and men die for. Model Upen Patel has just wrapped up a whirlwind 11 shows in the Lakme India Fashion Week (the most any male model has done this year). ‘‘Before this, everyone knew him as Amrita Arora’s boyfriend,’’ says Amrita, who flew into Delhi to be with her turk. ‘‘But here, everyone’s calling me Upen’s girlfriend.’’ The London lad, who moved to Mumbai to model and now works out an hour a day with buddies Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt, is happy about that. And if Salman is Bollywood’s shirtless hero, then Upen is the ramp’s. ‘‘Am I? I’m just trying to make sure my personality takes over my looks and body—and I’m a confident guy,’’ he says.
