‘‘I want men to sweat when they see this photograph,’’ says brazen babe , whose second film, Murder, opens in March. ‘‘I’m expecting guys to throw coins in the theatre.’’ The film is about a lonely, married woman who strays. ‘‘It shows how life is, not how it should be—and it’s not for hypocrites,’’ she says.

Shot in Bangkok, Mallika, all dolled up, is waiting for her lover. ‘‘My bedroom at home is like hell and I pursue the affair with a vengeance, dressing up for him and buying new lingerie. I’m brimming over with lust and sensuality in this scene.’’

And does she care about being typecast as a sexpot? ‘‘Marilyn Monroe and Jennifer Lopez have men drooling over them; I’d be crazy to mind.’’

It’s starting again.
