Building dream houses is his passion. And he leaves his mark for all to see and many to reside in. That is Niranjan Hiranandani, a giant in housing construction sector and also a director of Housing and Urban Development Corporation HUDCO. Juggling a hectic daily schedule which starts with Yoga and may involve frequent business trips leaves him little time for books these days, he says.

By his own admission he is not a voracious reader but nevertheless has a home library with a collection of around 500 books. 8220;A reminder of my earlier reading habit.8221; Though books for him are now being replaced slowly by the internet, a few books he still loves and which occupy permanent place in the mahagony shelf include: Ayn Rand8217;s Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged. 8220;I read them 20 years ago but was greatly influenced.8221; And adds, 8220;Bill Gates8217; The Road Ahead and Akio Morita8217;s Made in Japan along with Steven Cohey8217;s best seller Seven Habits of Effective People, are my other favourites. Gates explores the new niche created while Morita mulls over the changes in the industry and the constant need for change.8221;
