The company has achieved a gross sales turnover of Rs 4,205.92 lakh against Rs 3,927.36 lakh in the same period of last year.DSP MerrillMUMBAI: DSP Merrill Lynch has emerged as the country's number one investment bank by successfully managing fund-raising of Rs 44,431 crore for its clients in the Indian capital market from 1995-96 to 1997-98. This represents almost 50 per cent of the Rs 90,977 crore raised from the domestic markets. It has emerged as the largest investment banker for the government sector including financial institutions. They have raised Rs 39,309 crore through 93 offerings including 19 public issues, 72 private placements and two rights issues. This represents almost 65 per cent of the total amount raised by the sector during 1995-96 to 1997-98. DSP Merrill has managed Rs 37,678 crore worth of debt offerings for itsclients from the Indian capital market during 1995-96 to 1997-98.
