NEW DELHI, Nov 8: Fancied Birsamunda Vidyapitha Rourkela, playing a fast and attacking game, opened their campaign in the Super League of the 16th Nehru-ONGC sub-junior hockey tournament in style routing D.A.V School, Shahbad 5-0 at the National Stadium here today.

Jerun Kajur gave his side the lead in the 14th minute and four minutes later Bikas Toppo made it 2-0.

Binay Prakash increased the tally in the 26th minute and nine minutes later Bikas Toppo scored his second and team8217;s fourth goal.

Binay Prakash completed the tally, scoring his second and team8217;s fifth goal in the 47th minute. Earlier, winners of the Junior Nehru title, B R C Danapur dropped a point as they were held to a goalless draw by Sat Guru Pratap Academy Jalandhar.
