CHANDIGARH, Nov 29: The Environment Society of India is organising a function on December 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to welcome the migratory birds at the Sukhna Lake.
The school children from Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir will participate in the welcome celebrations. During the programme, on-the-spot painting competition, bird identification, quiz, cultural items and placard contests will be also be held.
