Mumbai, April 16: The 14th Bipin Memorial BMFA free coaching camp for boys and girls from 10 to 16 years, was inugurated by SG Bandopadhyay, Deputy General Manager of Central Bank, at the Poinsur Gymkhana ground, Borivli, on Saturday. About 450 trainees were present on the opening day and the camp, which concludes on May 9, will be split into six centres.

The trainees will be put through their paces at centres nearest and most convenient to them. The centres are: Churchgate, Parel, Chembur, Malad, Borivli and Vashi. The Vashi centre is exclusively for girls.

Churchgate: Dereyk D8217;Souza, former India player and coach, Abito Pires, Sabir Ansari, Tejpal Salian, Dilip Bangera, Santosh Pednekar. Director: Nelson Sebastian. Parel: Francis Fernandes, former junior India player, Damodar Kuckian, Elvis Nunes, Tony Rodrigues, Camilo Mendes and Suresh Ravalu. Borivli: Harish Rao, Maharashtra coach, John Alphonso, Gokul Kanchan, Suresh Rao, Renwick D8217;Souza, Peter Fernandes, Purshottam Bangera. Director: Francis Pereira. Malad: Arthur Pereira, former India forward, Charlie Padwal, Francis Fernandes Dena Bank. Director: Charlie Padwal. RCF, Chembur: Ratnakar Shetty, former Junior India captain, Anil Chandran, Francis Pereira. Director: Anil Chandran. Vashi: Ms Severine Xavier.
