Bhatkalkar new State BJP spokesperson

MUMBAI, JUNE 9: Senior BJP leader Atul Bhatkalkar will be the new party spokesman in place of Prakash Jawdekar, who was at the helm of affairs for well over five years.

BJP President Padurang Phundkar today announced the new office bearers of the party. Accordingly, Daulatrao Aher, Rajaram Salvi, Bhagwan Nagargoje, Ganpat Sarkar and Kanta Nalawade will be vice-presidents, while Sharad Kulkarni, Eknath Khadse and Vijay Girkar have been appointed general secretaries. Pratap Ashar will be treasurer, while Mukund Kulkarni has been reappointed office secretary. Among the permanent invitees on the state executive are Union Minister Pramod Mahajan, legislative council chairman N S Pharande, Suryabhan Wahadane and former deputy chief minister Gopinath Munde.
