Best Bakery: Two more re-arrested

The Detection of Crime Branch DCB re-arrested two more absconders in the Best Bakery case on Saturday from Pavagadh town, even as a relative of one of those arrested alleged she was sexually harassed by policemen.

The DCB said they re-arrested Mahendra Jadhav and Jagdish Rajput after a tip-off. The two were remanded to judicial custody. Jadhav had earlier filed a petition with the Supreme Court questioning the NHRC8217;s locus standi in the case.

Meanwhile, Jagdish Rajput8217;s sister-in-law Kapila Rajput alleged in a city court that she was sexually harassed by three policemen while searching for Jagdish. She said three policemen 8212; Rajendrasinh, Mahendrasinh and Yuvrajsinh 8212; had sexually harassed her on July 6 when they barged into her house under the pretext of searching for the accused.
