However, the picture was not not clear in Group D, though star-studded Railways have virtually assured themselves of a berth. It would be toss up between Punjab and Maharashtra A for the second spot.
In the men8217;s section Punjab and Bengal Group C, Bengal and Tamil Nadu Group D made it to the last eight grade. In Group B title holders PSCB have assured themselves of a berth, while Assam or Delhi would complete the quarter-final line up.
Strong contenderRailways, comprising Kasturi Chakraborty, Anindita Chakraborty and Montu Ghosh, survived a scare before edging out Maharashtra 3-0 for their second win in two matches.
