Sejal Shah has been a part of Gujarati stage for over a decade now. And theatre is, still, her greatest love. The first in the family to put on pancake and take to the stage, Sejal faced a lot of hurdles. In fact, her debut was also a rush job. An amateur children8217;s theatre production was falling short of a young girl. And Sejal stepped in. Only to never look back.
Her first full-fledged commercial venture, Fareb, opened the doors for Gujarati theatre. To date, she has acted in nearly 10 Gujarati blockbusters. And she intends to stick to it. quot;It8217;s more commercial. I have a show almost everyday, quot; she says.
And despite her busy schedule, she manages to find time for television. Currently, in Hasratein as Savi8217;s friend, Sejal has also signed another project, Shuruwat, which will be aired in May.
She is also open to films, if she is offered good character roles. quot;At my age 8212; even though she won8217;t tell you her exact age 8212; I cannot play the heroine of a film, quot; says Sejal, candidly.
