VADODARA, April 7: Even as the M S University has decided to shift for the time-being the Bachelor of Business Administration BBA course in the Pharmacy Department building near the University office, setting up a permanent building would take time.
University Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dipak Kumar De told Express Newsline that construction of a permanent building would depend upon the finances and donations available. 8220;It might take 10 years,8221; he added.
BBA, a self-financed course started last year, is run from the Commerce Faculty. Recently, students had raised a hue and cry demanding various facilities, including proper class rooms, library and separate toilets, among others.
The Committee appointed to redress their grievances met on Tuesday and decided to shift the classes temporarily from May 1. Committee convener Professor De said they had tried to meet most of their demands.
He said diploma classes in the Pharmacy department building were not being run as government grants were not forthcoming.
