SINGAPORE, FEB 17: India8217;s challenge ended in the Commonwealth Table Tennis Championship here on Thursday when Chetan Baboor went down fighting to England8217;s Mathew Syed 19-21, 21-19 16-21, 14-21 in the men8217;s singles semifinals.

Syed will now meet Singapore8217;s Duan Yong Jin, who beat Canada8217;s Johnny Huang 21-16, 13-21, 11-21, 21-8, 21-19.

The women8217;s singles final will be an all-Singapore affair after Li Jia Wei and Jin Jung Hong won their semi-final matches.
