Cricket Australia CA were in an unfortunate position regarding their current tour of Zimbabwe and would accept any direction from the ICC to postpone the tour, CA said on Tuesday.

The tour will proceed as planned unless Australia are otherwise directed by the game8217;s world governing body, CA chief executive James Sutherland says. Sutherland said the Zimbabwe Cricket Union ZCU were working hard to resolve a complex dispute with 15 sacked rebel players. 8220;ICC chief Malcolm Speed and the ICC are in Zimbabwe and there continue to be discussions along various lines,8221; Sutherland told a news conference at CA8217;s headquarters in Melbourne. 8220;We are open to whatever suggestions the ICC have. If, in their interests, it postponing the tour is for the good of the game then we would be listening. We8217;d be wanting to listen to the ZCU about it as well.8221;
