Arora is Mohali SDM

SAS NAGAR, June 2: Mohinder Paul Arora, has taken over as Sub Divisional Magistrate of Mohali sub-division replacing Parminder Singh Gill who has been appointed as SDM, Chandigarh Administration. Gill replaces D.S. Saroya who has been designated as secretary to North Zone Cultural Centre.Arora was secretary, Punjab State Scheduled Castes Land Development and Financial Corporation, before his appointment as Mohali SDM, it was officially stated.

N-tests lauded
The Phase V House Owners’ Society, at its meeting held today, congratulated Prime Minister for the successful nuclear tests, and donated Rs 1,100 as a token contribution towards nation’s cause. General secretary of the society Albel Singh Shyan said that this gesture would show the way to other countrymen to ward off present economic crisis due to economic sanctions.
