Tension mounted at the proposed POSCO plant site as armed protesters took out a procession against the upcoming project on Sunday, the police said. The rally, under the banner of POSCO Pratirodh Sangam Samiti which is a CPI-backed body opposing establishment of the Rs 52,000-crore project, was followed by an oath-taking ceremony in which nearly 500 people pledged to fight against the project till the 8220;last drop of blood8221;.
