Another reshuffle of senior babus in State

Urban Development Secretary Suresh Joshi will be the new Transport Secretary in place of U K Mukhopadhyaya, who has been shifted to the General Administration Department (GAD).

GAD Secretary R R Kulkarni has been transferred to Pune as the Commissioner (Agriculture) in place of S K Goyal, who will be the new Commissioner, Cooperation in place of S S Lala.

Lala has been appointed Secretary, Social Welfare Department in place of Suresh Salvi, who will be the new Divisional Commissioner, Konkan in place of Sharwari Gokhale. She will be now Secretary, Department of Women and Child welfare.

A P Sinha, Secretary, Revenue and Rehabilitation will be the new Urban Development Secretary, while Joyce Shankaran will replace A P Sinha. Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation Managing Director Bhupati Prasad Pandey will be new Secretary to Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal in place of B G Veer, who has been appointed as Commissioner, Employees State Insurance Scheme. A K Singh, Joint Managing Director, MTDC has been promoted as Managing Director, while M B Ray has been appointed Secretary of the Women’s Commission. P M A Hakeem, will be the new Vice President and Managing Director of the Maharashtra State Transport Corporation in place of Ujwal Uke, who has been appointed as its General Manager.

Rani Jadhav has been appointed Managing Director of Maharashtra Petrochemicals, while V Ramani has been shifted to the Yeshwantrao Chavan Institute of Developmental Administration, Pune. A Dasgupta has been appointed Secretary (Accounts and Treasuries), while R C Joshi has been appointed as Secretary, Tribal Development. Nagpur Improvement Trust Chairman W G Gorde has been appointed as Director, Municipal Administration, while N J Ramteke, Municipal Commissioner will be the new NIT Chairman.

Sindhudurg Collector Sudhir Thakre has been appointed Additional Collector, Mumbai, while Sindhudurg Chief Executive Officer Ashwini Kulkarni will be the new CEO of Zilla Parishad, Nagpur. Uttam Khobragade has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner, Mumbai Municipal Corporation.
