BANGALORE, June 1: Karnataka8217;s Anoop Sridhar detached himself from the shadow of his friend and better known Kumardev Rajamanya with a 15-7, 18-15 verdict to annex the Boys Under-16 singles crown in the Kwality Biscuits Limited all-India mini badminton tournament at the Karnataka Badminton Association courts here on Sunday.
Later in the day, Anoop partnered Kumardev and won the doubles crown to complete a day of accomplishment. Anoop8217;s double-effort was matched by the younger Rajamanya- Niranjandev in the Boys Under-10 section.
Maharashtra8217;s Trupti Murugunde won the singles title in the Girls Under-16 section stopping the winning spree of Pooja Patil of the host state.

U-16 singles: Anoop Sridhar Kar bt Kumardev Rajamanya 15-7 18-15. Doubles: Kumardev amp; Anoop Sridhar bt Chiloop Valsan amp; Saurabh Saboo Ker 15-7 15-10.
Girls U-10 singles: Parsa Naqvi UP bt GM Nischita Kar 11-1 11-5. Doubles: Nischita amp; Reshma Kumar bt Ruth Misha amp; Ranjana Pathy Kar 15-10 17-14.
