Talks between the PWG, CPIM-L-Janashakti and the Andhra Pradesh government will begin on October 15. The venue has not been decided yet.

The date was announced after Home Minister K. Jana Reddy met Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy today. The PWG has already chosen three of its leaders 8212; state secretary Ramakrishna, North Telangana special zone committee member Ganesh and Andhra-Orissa border special zone committee secretary Sudhakar 8212; for the talks.

Briefing mediapersons later, Jana Reddy said October 13, the date proposed by the two Naxalite parties, was put off due to by-elections to Asifnagar and Siddipet Assembly constituencies. Modalities and agenda for talks would be finalised on October 5 at the meeting with the groups.
