We have dutifully watched the team of girls battle it out with the boys on the dance floor on Star One8217;s Zara Nachke Dikha. We have also religiously tuned into NDTV Imagine to catch the various genres sing out loud on Lux Junoon- Kuchh Kar Dikhaane Ka and then we have also followed every move that the contestants made on their 13-week journey on Kaun Jeetega Bollywood Ka Ticket on 9X. Channel-surfing, late-night viewing, voraciously SMSing8230; at the end of it all, we were exhausted. The journey has been long, close to four months, and realising that the audience out there is looking for a breather, the results on all three popular reality shows are out! LADIES TAKE IT ALL: We always knew they were better. After four months and 23 episodes, 8216;The Girls vs Boys8217; war finally came to an end as the 8216;Meethi Churi8217; team walked away with the Zara Nachke Dikha Champions Trophy. With their grace, moves and style, the judges8217; verdict said that the girls were unarguably the best. Be it the perfection of Karishma Tanna, the sensuality of Mouni Roy and Narayani Shastri or the vibrant energy of Ashita Dhawan and Delnaaz Paul, the team showcased girl power all the way. In the final 8216;Face Off Round8217; Ashita amazed the judges with her incomparable steps and beat her toughest opponent, Bakhtyaar Irani. Along with Malaika Arora Khan and Chunky Pandey, the finale was judged by 8216;masterji8217; Saroj Khan, whose nazar did not miss a single mistake! Apart from top notch acts by the teams, the hosts and the judges; the finale included three hours of drama and a huge protest from the Tez Talwaars Boy8217;s team who voiced their displeasure against the scores. However, the judges stood by their decision and unanimously said that they were very proud of the girls. Mouni Roy won the best dancer of the series and prize money of Rs 1 lakh. As the team prize, the girls will soon be off for a vacation to Egypt on a couple holiday!
SUFI SCORES AND SO DOES SHE: It8217;s finally out in the open. Sufi scores over not just traditional fare but even over popular Bollywood music. The journey to decide India8217;s favourite genre of music and its most talented singer came to a resounding finale with Harshdeep Kaur from 8216;Sufi Ke Sultan8217; being crowned the winner of Lux Junoon Kuchh Kar Dikhaane Ka. Wowing audiences with her melodious voice, Harshdeep left everyone spellbound with her matchless performance that garnered the maximum number of viewer votes to win the title. Over the past 17 weeks, Harshdeep fought off intense competition to emerge as the winner. 8220;Manzilein unko milti hain jinke kadmon mein jaan hoti hai! Pankhon se kuch nahi hota, hoslon se udaan hoti hai!8221; remarked an overwhelmed Harshdeep at the end of the final episode which also saw wonderful performances by mentors Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ila Arun, Anand Raj Anand.
TICKET TO BOLLYWOOD: Popular television actor Naman Shaw and his partner Bindu have won the grand finale of the reality show Lux Kaun Jeetega Bollywood Ka Ticket on 9X that saw couples from various zones compete. The winning couple was formally given the title and of course a movie contract with Balaji Telefilms and Popcorn Entertainment by actor Suniel Shetty. This popular 8216;Jodi8217; had their mentor Shabana Azmi rooting for them right from the first episode and when their names were announced. 8220;The journey of 13 weeks has been the most memorable.
