Impressed by the portrayal of satyagraha in the Sanjay Dutt-starrer Lage Raho Munnabhai, the Prime Minister said in Durban, 8220;Every generation has re-discovered the relevance of Gandhiji8217;s message.8221;

8220;I was heartened to see recently that back home in India, the most popular movie this festival season is a film about a young man8217;s discovery of the universal and timeless relevance of the Mahatma8217;s message,8221; Singh said.

According to him, when people worry about the so-called 8220;clash of civilisations8221;, Gandhiji8217;s message would have been that it is indeed possible for us to work for the confluence of civilisations.
