AHMEDNAGAR, Sept 30: A padyatra on AIDS awareness, organised by Ahmednagar College, was taken out this afternoon. The march began with the garlanding of the photo of Dr. Hivale, founder-member of Ahmednagar College by Ahmednagar Municipal Council president, Suresh Shelke.

Many students attended the function addressed by principal Dr A G Bansode and others who spoke on AIDS and how to avoid it. The padyatra began from the college Gate and passed through the main roads of the city. Students held bannners, placards and boards with slogans on AIDS.A highly successful two-day workshop on AIDS Awareness was held earlier.
